Trump Survives Assassination Attempt

Former President Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt Saturday afternoon at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, just days before he was to accept the Republican nomination for a third time.

“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Sadly, an attendee lost her life, and two others were gravely wounded. The good news is that the piece of shit shooter got his head riddled with rounds to the dome by the sniper detail. I don't know how they didn't spot the shooter before he shot at Trump, but at least he didn't kill him, and it didn't become a mass casualty incident. It could've been a lot worse! Thankfully, it wasn't.
